Did you know that the most intelligent people are usually the least happy individuals among us? If you can relate to most of the signs of a smart person we’ve put together, you must have a high IQ, but might be rather unhappy in life. Follow professional advice of leading experts in psychology to transform your life in a positive way. People with a high IQ continuously analyze the events of their lives. Their findings are often full of fear and disappointment, with real dilemmas constantly popping up in their heads. The habit of constant overanalyzing leads to frequent reflections about life, death and the meaning of existence. All this, in most cases, leads to depression. Try to distract yourself from having negative thoughts and focus on the positive. You can also try keeping a diary and writing about the things you’re thankful for every single day. Anytime you’re feeling down, just open it, and it'll put a smile on your face. According to scientists, socializing for highly intelligent people is often a more painful experience than being alone. Find ways to make new acquaintances whose company you genuinely enjoy and appreciate family members who sincerely love you. A recent study has shown that, in their daily life, intellectuals make just as many mistakes as everyone else! Scientist Igor Grossman of the University of Waterloo suggests that such people should talk about their problems in the third person in order to emotionally distance themselves. This reduces bias and allows them to reach the most logical conclusions. The assumption that every smart person is successful couldn’t be more inaccurate. In fact, studies have shown that 85% of financial well-being depends things such as individuality and the ability to communicate and negotiate. No big brain or certain IQ number on that list. Music: Operatic - Vibe Mountain https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS They tend to overanalyze things. 0:32 They're too demanding of themselves and others. 1:16 They can’t form warm and friendly relationships. 2:12 They have mental health issues. 3:04 They feel like they have to meet others’ expectations. 3:55 They rarely make rational decisions. 4:46 They're not always successful. 5:27 They’re more stressed out. 6:37 They're more likely to have health problems. 7:23 They feel more comfortable alone. 8:14 SUMMARY -People with a high IQ continuously analyze the events of their lives. It’s important to learn to accept your right to make mistakes, recognize them, and allow others to make mistakes too. -Instead of being too demanding, just think of events, people, or things that make you feel grateful. It’ll distract you from having negative thoughts and help you focus on the positive. -Try to reconsider the people around you and get rid of the ones that drain you emotionally. Find ways to make new acquaintances whose company you genuinely enjoy and appreciate family members who sincerely love you. -Make an effort to help others more often, even strangers. It’s been proven that people who support others experience a sense of inner peace much more often than those who ignore other people’s problems. -Treat learning and working like a game: get fully involved in the process and try not to get stuck on the result. -Talk about your problems in the third person in order to emotionally distance yourself. This reduces bias and allows them to reach the most logical conclusions. -Don’t forget that having smarts might not always be enough, so work on other aspects of yourself if you want to be truly happy and successful! -Remember you should solve your problems, not beat yourself up for having them. -Before you celebrate being a brainy night owl, you should know that this lifestyle is known to lead to heart disease. -Try to balance the time you spend alone and the moments you spend in someone's company. By loading kids with high expectations and micromanaging their lives at every turn, parents aren't actually helping. At least, that's how Julie Lythcott-Haims sees it. With passion and wry humor, the former Dean of Freshmen at Stanford makes the case for parents to stop defining their children's success via grades and test scores. Instead, she says, they should focus on providing the oldest idea of all: unconditional love. Why Intelligent People Tend to Have Less Friends? Create stunning 3D Avatar on your site or store with http://bit.ly/Stunning3DAvatar Just how many friends do you have guys? In case the answer is one or two, or maybe none at all, then maybe you are one of an intelligent person, or maybe even brilliance. Well, do you realize that intelligent people usually have fewer friends? Do you even think what's wrong with those people or how they interact in social life? Do they see the world in a different point than the rest of us? Well, Psychologist Satoshi Kanazawa from London School of Economics quantified the happiness levels of 15,000 individuals with various IQ levels. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Other amazing videos: Top 5 Exciting Things In Porn That Actually Hurt A Lot : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B57q-ikk9Zc Why Straight Women Tend To Have Less Orgasms : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXFVOVdlJfI 7 Tips You Can Apply To Last Longer In Bed : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7PYtj0psLo ------------------------------------------------------------------ Subscribe : https://www.youtube.com/c/BehindTheScienceFacts?sub_confirmation=1 ------------------------------------------------------------------ He quantified the happiness of all individuals on two conditions, when they were entirely alone and once whilst they were socializing with a group of friends. What the results revealed was that for people who have low to average intelligence amounts they reported greater self-well-being when they spent time with friends and it appears the more friends they had, the more happy they were made by it. But the precise reverse was true for people who have rather high intelligence amounts. When alone, they reported having greater happiness. It is likely they have their own world to mess with. Some theorize suggested that intelligent individuals are more sceptical of others, they are more-able to see the flaws of humankind and so prefer not to get tangled up with them. It’s also believed that when intelligent people do form a friendships, it’s mainly for private gain or just out of awkwardness and expectations. Whereas other people form friendships for psychological support or a lust for popularity and attention. Intelligent people don’t want psychological support, trust me they are capable of handling their own problem, even some time they desperately doing projects while dwelling against time. Well, This aversion towards human interaction really intensifies in a linear and predictable manner with increased intelligence. Sometime, some people just found it really hard to form bonds and relationships with other people. For instance, Nikola Tesla never married or had sex, his tastes were different than any other person, he fell in love with a pigeon. Seriously, you don't have to be like that guys. He really wrote something like this, "I adored that pigeon as a man loves a girl, and she adored me. As long as I had her, there was a purpose to my life." Surely that's a bit weird. Another example is Isaac Newton, one of the most brilliant men to ever walk the Earth. Despite we really owe a lot to him, he founded calculus gravitation along with the laws of motion, and of course others innumerable findings. Well, he essentially created the basis for most modern day physics. Yet, to say he was socially-awkward is a hard reality to bear. He was a private person, never had any particular friends aside from a mild acquaintanceship with a Swiss mathematician and he died a virgin. Despite he met a lot of people, yet the reality is just hard to accept. It’s not that exceptionally intelligent individuals are antisocial, it’s only that they're in the minority and so struggle to find people that share their point of views of the world, accept their flaws and sometime their ridiculous personality. Because after all, regardless how many times you’ve been told the scientifically-proven falsehood of “opposites attract”, it’s similarities that form a long-term bonds and bring individuals together. In a simple explanation, similarities with others are rare if you are determined the Earth revolves round the Sun while the remainder of the moronic person you share the planet with refuse to believe you. Another result found in Kanazawa’s study also revealed that individuals who lived in densely populated regions were significantly less happy than those in less populated areas. This really isn't the first scientific study to recognize this happening. Innumerable research have found that cities that were large harbour hate towards our fellow individuals. Whereas the most friendly and most inviting of individuals are available in rural settlements and small towns. This occurrence was noticed all around the globe.
